The ceremony will begin at 5:45PM, but come a little early (please!) and enjoy a drink, the sun and the summer wedding vibes starting at 5:00PM.
TL;DR: you won’t be late if you arrive at the time on our invite.

Friday
For those invited to the shabbat (family and bridal parties), please plan for indoor attire.
Saturday
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, (inclement weather permitting). As such, we recommend dressing for the heat and bringing mosquito/sun protection (though we will also provide some on site!) Dinner and dancing will under a tent.
Sunday
Brunch will take place outdoors, with a plan to move indoors should rain get in the way.

Note - we’re offering specifics here in the hopes this is useful/helpful, but what’s written below is certainly not designed to be prescriptive or limiting. If you have any questions about attire, feel free to reach out. Please know that what’s most important to us is that you feel good, be comfortable, and - above all else - be ready to celebrate!
Friday night Shabbat (for bridal parties and family)
Cocktail attire (read: pants/jacket or sports coat, cocktail length dresses, slacks/blouse)
Saturday ceremony/dinner/reception
Summer semi-formal (read: suit/tie, cocktail-length-to-maxi-length skirts/dresses, cheeky jumpsuits). Our wedding demon, Alex Mayer, would like to suggest “Garden Party” as a general vibe to strive for.
Other notes about Saturday:
It’s going to be warm - think weather-conscious attire (linen jackets! Breezy dresses! Silk chiffon!).
Activities will involve lawns and other grassy surfaces - plan footwear accordingly!
We strongly support your decision to bring sneakers for the dance floor if you so wish.
Sunday brunch
Literally wear whatever you want - including pajamas - in the words of our wedding demon, Alex Mayer, “It’s flippin’ brunch.” We’ll be dressed casually/comfortably, too!

Rugrats are fun! If you’re planning on bringing yours to Sloatsburg and we don’t already know (or they are not on your invite), please let us know! We would be glad to connect you to local babysitting contacts if that’s something you’d like to set up.
